Absolutely. The margin is so small - 3 to 4 days with activity in not 
too warm weather - that it is far less of a rules problem than food. 
Reduce by a day for hot or exceedingly cold weather or very strenuous 
activity, add a day for characters with a high mass, and you're in the 
ballpark.

Oh yes. Also looking forward to mighty adventurers getting devoured by a 
pack of wild dogs because they are too dazed and weak from hunger and
