[Runequest] Characteristics

This topic does tend to reoccur on an annual basis. Personally I like the
way it has been done and simplified in MRQ with CHA replacing APP.
I use a characterisation where roughly speaking:
POW = force of spirit
CHA = force of personality/ego
INT = force of mind
I figure you are born with these at a certain standard and could train them
to a certain innate maximum.
So, if you want to make some sort of orate, convince, influence test then
you may be drawing on a skill that is based on some combination of CHA, INT
and/or POW. Being a king or having a very big sword would be used as a bonus
to a skill test rather than a modifier to the stat.
Obviously you could add or subtract stats until the cows come home because
there isn't a right or wrong way.
