I finally checked messages for this group and saw this discussion. One 
small correction: there was a "character data sheet" in the Heritage 
version of the game. It was a letter-sized sheet, folded in half to fit 
in the box. (Lev, maybe I misunderstood what you meant?)

It's pretty simple but two-sided. Side one has spaces for basic 
character information (name, race, age, combat quickness, main stats, 
etc.), a table for weapons with space for twelve different types, 
character movement, mount movement, mount stats, wounds, etc. Side two 
has lots of space for items carried and skills, with smaller spaces for 
nodes carried and searched for. I think it'd be easy to come up with 
one's own, and possibly better laid out; the game was made before 
desktop publishing, after all. :)

I don't have easy access to a scanner, but I'll try to scan it later.
