[Swordbearer] Hello all!

Hi Rachel,

Thanks for your introduction.

For my own part I picked up a copy of the Heritage edition in the early
80s and played a bit of it with a friend as GM. I still have that copy,
alas the box went some time ago.

In recent months I picked up a copy of the FGU edition and more recently
ran a short campaign.

Today my review of the game was published on rpg.net

http://www.rpg.net/reviews/archive/13/13858.phtml

I would love to see a new edition of Swordbearer and would be more than
happy to contribute to such a process. I don't know what sort of lasting
bonds and binds that FGU have inflicted upon Dennis...

Last year I approached Greg Costikyan and Jolly Roger Games for a
small-press RPG based on the world of Greg's "Barbarian Kings". After
playtesting with three different game systems (Stormbringer, DragonQuest
and most recently Swordbearer) it would be great to bring the
inspirations of Greg and Dennis together.

It'd be just like Paranoia (which they both worked on) but...
fantasy :-)

All the best,

Lev
