Nothing I have read from Greg Stafford on the origins of Glorantha has suggested any Lovecraftian influences, Dreamlands or otherwise.
Maybe he is confusing the Australian Dream Time mythology with HPL’s Dream Cycle? Certainly RuneQuest and Glorantha both well antedate the modern popularity of Cthulhu et al.
