[Runequest] RQ6 simulationist question

Hi, All,
   My last in this trilogy of questions for the day:
   For those who've practiced swordfighting, which is more true as a
simulation, the old AH RQ3 melee rules or the new RQ6 melee rules?
   Or, am I asking a poorly considered question for which there can be no
meaningful answer?
  (Mind you, I'm not asking which is more fun.  That is also an interesting
topic, but I've asked enough questions today already.)
   Any and all feedback is welcome.
