[Runequest] Questions about armor.

Hi, All,
   Thank you, Lev.  Good stuff, which I saved.  And it answered several
points for me.
   Also, I remain very interested in practical physical aspects of putting
on and wearing armor.  I've never worn armor, except a bullet-proof
vest at a police fair, and so am lacking in practical experience.  (The
vest, BTW, was easy to put on, take off, and adjust, but it was heavy. 
I'd hate to go hiking in it.)
   Any further enlightenment is warmly welcome.
