Because if I gave the lowest possible score of 0 in each category the
result would be 0/5 which isn't allowed. The rpg.net ratings index start
at '1' and goes to '5'. Zero is not a number in this case ;-)
The only way around it that makes any sense (and I readily admit it
isn't good sense) is to start at 1.0 and work your way up to 5.999 and
have an average of 3.5.
It would also means that those that get 5/5 are on average 0.8 or better
on each category.
Makes sense?
