I followed up with a search for GURPS, RuneQuest, Rolemaster, "Dungeons
& Dragons"

22Dungeons+%26+Dragons%22&ctab=0&geo=all&date=all&sort=0

And the graph seems similar across the board. This may suggest the
industry is having a quiet time. Or at least the "big name" games.
