Hmmm... I wonder if a rock-paper-scissors mechanic to give bonuses based
on id, ego and superego attacks and defenses would liven it up a bit?

Jane Williams (iirc) once recounted a story where a young initiate
rolled very badly and was temporarily possessed by a Bladesharp 4 spirit
until a senior priest had some stern words with it.

Personally if I were the GM I'd allow the player to play the spirit for
a session. :-)
