C'mon Wayne, I have sat there and watched you go "C'mon Wayne (talking to
yourself) I can do math." while you try to figure out a total with a
modifier in many many games.
We are all getting older, and farther away from our last encounters with
elementary school math. Those brain cells start dying.
This is why SPQR is getting away from %ile modifiers and going to # of
successes. It makes it easier for the GM, particularly, but the players as
well.
