As far as I know, an impale does normal weapon damage
plus maximum weapon damage. A critical ignores armor. 
An impaling critical does both, adds damage and
ignores armor. 

Therefore: 

Scimitar 1d6+2
w/Truesword 2d6+4
w/Bladesharp 2d6+4+4
impale Max(2d6+4) = 16
impale 2d6+4+4+16
