What Happen at Roldom ? Some times called Roldem or Great Harbour. The player characters or PCs encountered a incident in the slums where a person was assassinated. This person secretly placed a scroll case in Crestina backpack when he bumped into her, while being chased by thugs. Cristina and gang witnessed this person killed by a poison dagger. The thugs and assassin quickly dissipated into the alley and lane ways of the slums. Crestina checked the body and found 50 pennies which she releaved from the murdered man. That night Crestina found the Scroll case in her backpack. It is made of ivory and gold plating, she also studied the case with mystic vision. She found that the case was enchanted and had a aura of a spirit bound to it. What type of spirit is unknown but did not open the case. The following day a man approached the group and introduced himself as Jon and asked if they had the case. (A witness of the murder saw Crestina taking the money bag from the corpse and sold that information to Jon). He said to the pcs that it holds a map and a scroll of a tomb of the legendy trade lord, Yarmardier. He was buried with his fortune, somewhere near the city of Elderad, now known as the Lost City. Yarmardier died from a plague which infected the city. The city was part of the Golden Empire. This empire was plundered and destroyed by a numerous barbarian tribes and divided up, about 1000 years ago. Jon also told the pcs that Killer, an alias, was behind the assassination. He asked the pcs to carry the scroll case to his cousin, Areth Coll, who was at the Lost City. Jon secured passenger space on the Sea Breeze, for the adventurers at no cost. The adventurers went to the wharf where they encountered four Hellhounds. They fought them for minute or so when Jon and about twenty guards showed up, delt and banished the demons. But, Crestina managed to dominate the hellhound called Ziissi. He supplied Crestina of the real name of Killer. His name is Corsabrin, a powerful sorcerer banished from Roldom for summoning creatures from the demon plane. -- Lev Lafayette, BA (Hons), GradCertTerAdEd (Murdoch), GradCertPM, MBA (Tech Mngmnt) (Chifley) mobile: 0432 255 208 RFC 1855 Netiquette Guidelines http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc1855.txt http://www.quicksales.com.au/shop/RPG-Review.aspx
