Initial ability with that category is determined by initial characteristics. Skill Categories Agility [DEX+CON] Communication [CHA+INT] Knowledge [INT+INT] Magic [CHA+POW] Manipulation [DEX+STR} Perception [INT+CON] Skills Available The following is a hopefully complete list. Fuller descriptions will be in the upcoming Skills chapter. Indented Skills are subsets of the skill preceding them. Pick one of the subsets, or an overskill and then increase subsets within the overskill. Once a character has been created and started on the Quest, only subsets can be increased with Experience rolls. Overskills and Subskills can be increased by Training and Research. Skill list and difficulty ratings are here http://rpgreview.net/sites/default/files/skills.html * Skills identified with an asterisk must have at least one Skill Point spent on them or they are not known at all. GMs may assign this quality to other Skills on this list. If the asterisk is on the Overskill, the entire set of Subskills must have Skill Points spent on them. For spellcasters if you can mention what *sort* of spells you want I'll allocate them. Consider it like the apprentice going to the wizard, not knowing exactly what spells are available but knowing what they want to do.
