Just to clarify.

Michael, please bring your Megatraveller character sheets if you still have them. We'll get into the action as soon as we can.

I was thinking we would run an intro scenario this week and we can start the campaign next time with Lev.
I would like to try the Megatraveller rules system out this week. If there is no love for it from the group we can convert to GURPS 3rd ed instead.
Reading the rules MT is not too bad, a little clunky and granular but OK.

Is this Wednesday (28 Jun) a tabletop night?
(or is all on hold till Lev gets back?)

If you have multiple pre made characters using the randomised method, I'm happy to play one.
I'll be working this Wedesday and Thursday evenings - so spending our first session mucking around with a points based character gen system is something I'd like to avoid.
Ideally I'd like to be dropped into the game "in mens rea"
eg
"The ship is about to be boarded by police , you can't be caught with the data file you recently stole. You are a high berth passenger ... and action"

Hi all. Michael and I generated half a dozen characters with Megatraveller on Wednesday. Michael had problems with the aging rules and survival checks. We both really enjoyed the emerging characters that came from the randomization. There was some consideration for using GURPS Traveller (3rd ed) instead. I know some people have issues with 4th ed. What does everyone think?
