FATE Core is available for about $5 from Evil Hat Games site as well as drivethrurpg.com. In my opinion it is worth buying in any case. It is a core system that plenty of games are based on.

We are not running a game at our place this week.  Charmaine and I are due in hospital on Friday morning to be induced so we need some time and place for last minute panicking.

IIRC it's pretty comprehensive, you don't really need FATE Core to go with
it.
