The next session of the Mask of Nyarlathotep is tomorrow night - and we
may have Martin tuning in as well! (Google+ Hangout would be easiet?).

In the last episode the Investigators decided it was time to leave Cyrpus,
having witnessed the destruction of the home of one of the wealthiest
individuals in Nicosia as his entire house exploded due to the rapid
expansion of a great gelatinuous tentacled blob. Now *Kenya*, that sounded
like a much safer port of call. Travelling with them was a psychotherapist
who had now seen too much - Constatin von Economou

Taking a ship from Nicosia to Port Said (and lying *very* low indeed),
then to Aden, where they barely struck up enough courage to step ashore
for a few days, eventually reaching Mombasa, a rather attractive port with
obvious influences from Arab, Indian, sub-Saharan African, Portuguese, and
now British colonial styles. The Investigators also had a lead from Ju-Ju
House in New York to Ahja Singh, exporter of fine and exotic art pieces.
Unfortunately, there seemed to nothing to the store of note, despite a
careful stake-out.

What was more interesting was how the Investigators spotted that they were
being shadowed and spied upon by a turbanned man with in an inwardly
curling beard. Because of his excellent stealth, they sent Alfred Bradley,
parapsychologist and Olympic pistol shooter to find out was this dastardly
villain was up to. In following the individual, poor Mr. Bradley became
lost in the back streets of Cairo. The last thing he noticed was an Indian
man with a hefty club connecting the lump of wood with his head.

The party, quite beside themselves, had initially given up hope on his
return. But Alfred Bradley did escape from the cell he found himself in,
broke out, and eventually made it back to the Investigators. Seeking
immediate medical treatment, the doctor marvelled at his recovery, and
especially the rapid curing of his wound to his head from the blow. Alfred
however was less impressed with the texture of his wound that felt both
slimy and spongy.

With numerous hints pointing to Nairobi, the Investigators caught the
famous Ugandan railway. It was quite a beautiful journey, at least for
those European folk travelling in second and first class, at the last
train carriage. In between them and the wood-burning locomotive, was the
dining car (two meals for the Europeans, breakfast and dinner), the third
class of Indians and Arabs (the 'brown' car, one meal for them, silver and
china put away), and then the smokey flatcar for blacks and freight (bring
your own dinner), after that the wood tender, and finally the locomotive
itself.

During the journey however, their suspicious Indian was spotted yet again.
He proved incredibly elusive however, even as he dashed into third class
somewhere. Soon after his disappearance, strange burning lights appeared
above the train and then within in. The Investigators recognised these as
Fire Vampires; the other passengers simply found them uncanny in their
behaviour. It was the quick thinking of the party that put out the
vampires with buckets, sands, and even champagne (a terrible waste in some
respects).

Finally, after an epic journey through the day, and arriving quite late at
night, the investigators finally made it to Nairobi..
