Message-ID: <88D52BE6A74B4D6BB2DAA7C7EF0B6765@mail2world.com> Hi all, So if your going into a new campaign world what do you really want to know? Getting closer now. One of the last bits of writing to start is the brief run down of the 'current situation' suggested by Lev during playtesting. I plan to create a two page breif of 18th century England with the idea that referee's could print back and front as a handout to players at the start of the campiagn. The back page will be a 50 year timeline of English history to 1730. The front will be stuff everybody in Swift's 18th century England would know. I'm thinking 'national character as per Gulliver's Travels, Fashion, Law, diversions, technology, trade and international relations... So what am I missing? What would youas a player want in an intro to a campiagn world? Your feedback would be most helpful.

As part of this progress I have pieced together a good copy of the Herman Moll map of the world. If anyone wants a copy of this files let me know. Might make a good cover for a regular net based rpg periodical... Now to get a copy of this map and add Lilliput etc.

This is a 1719 Herman Moll map of the world with altered versions of Moll's 1727 map illustrations for Gulliver's Travels and for the very observant one small drawing from Charles Brock's 1879 illustrations. In the universe of Gulliver's Trading Company it is Herman Moll's 1729 edition of his world map. If you are interested in this email me about it. I am also missing Jay and Gwain's last names for the playtesting credits. The chapter on England and English life in the year 1730 in the world of Gulliver's Trading Company has been completed. Again if you would like to see this chapter email me. I have also finished all the licensing and legal notices for OGL and the Fudge logo licence. I have added the author's photo. So that's about everything except finiding a full colour cover. This means that the final edit of the game is underway, the search for a cover artist continues, and the organising of publishing/distribution has begun. If anyone has any advice or other help with these aspects it would be much appreciated.
