Hi CoGgers,

The CoG is dead, long live the CoG!

Well, I've reached the end of my tether with the administrivia of the
MUPMC, and will not be running any more games there.

On the preferred option of others there are two alternative locations.

1) We have received a good offer from the Princes Park Bowls Club, which
is a $55 annual social membership, which provides 24/7 access. That is
around a quarter each of what we currently play. Has parking.

2) Willsmere Library, Wiltshire Drive, Kew. A short walk (15 minutes) from
the closest public transport, but gaming in a former asylum does have
benefits too.. Has parking.

3) One of the city games stores. Bad parking.

Please take the opportunity to express your opinion and alternatives.

All the best,

Hi all

Lev! Good on you for lasting this long! What was the final straw? (nosy)

I'd prefer a city location myself, both places seem a bugger to get to - but of the two would prefer the bowling place I think - longer to get to but more options (once in town can get direct bus or tram). Is the other free though?
?
Hi Mark,

As mentioned, administrivia. It annoys my sense of bureaucratic efficiency.

Yes, the Willsmere library is free.

The public transport method to get there is the 200, 205, or 203 buses.

All the best, Lev
