As a break from our normal timetable we're having a board/war game day on
this Sunday as the GURPS Time Travellers GM needs a break :)
Michael and I had a look over my collection which included the following
list.. at the moment we're leaning towards War and Peace (Napoleanics) but
if anyone has another brilliant idea please fire away...

I certainly am, so don't get any ideas about talking about me on this list :)
Am i still able to turn up to this event? I wasn't too sure considering i currently only play in the Krononauts game or have you got a full bill of players for this already?
Having said that I've never played any of the games listed (though i have played Advanced Squad Leader before, so I may be familar if the rules are similar) so if a lack of knowledge on this game is a problem then my question may already be answered.

Of course you can... Come along, the more the merrier..
At this stage it looks like War & Peace, especially seeming I have
multiple copies of the rulebook :)

Subject: [Churchofgaming] Rolemaster Cyradon this Sunday

Instead of our RuneQuest game I'd like to have a one-off Rolemaster
Cyradon game instead. As the designer of said product, it would be good
for some of the people I regularly game with to get a playtester credit
in the book when it is published. Pre-generated characters will be
available.
It also gives me a chance to update the character sheets for RuneQuest
and prepare for the next story arc. :)
Last Sunday's War and Peace game went quite well imo, especially given
that none of us had previously played or, for that matter, had even
comprehensively read the rules. A couple of things worth noting that we
got wrong:
Leaders and Average Force Morale modify the die rolls in combat rather
than adding to the Strength Values.
The combat phase continues in rounds, so it can be ongoing over a
period.
