Church of Gaming, November 2009 Newsletter, Issue 13
=====================================================
Introduction
============
Well, we're now up to the 13th issue of the newsletter.. Keeping you all
up-to-date with our activities.
Gaming at CoG at the past month has been - as will continue - with GURPS
Krononauts and RuneQuest Rhythm of the Heat albeit with a brief journey
into the realms of the grand Napoleonic wargame "War and
Peace" ("there's not much peace", remarked Jay).
Gaming Timetable
================
GURPS Krononauts
----------------
Currently sent to Dog Island in the middle of the current North Sea at
30,000 BCE... Looking at a heard of mammoth behaving in a most unusual
fashion.. Finding another group of time-travellers who must also be up
to no good..
http://mimesisrpg.com/mailman/listinfo/krononauts_mimesisrpg.com
Sessions on November 1st, 15th and 29th
RuneQuest Rhythm of the Heat
----------------------------
Having acquired another Torch of Yelamlio the party heads north into the
worst land imaginable for such people - towards that of the Trolls. The
acquisition of such artifacts has come with such a terrible cost
however; with most of the party - including shaman and rune priests -
having lost much of their POWer. Can they succeed in this quest without
such magical influence in a magic-rich world?
http://mimesisrpg.com/mailman/listinfo/runequestprax_mimesisrpg.com
Sessions on November 8th and 22nd
All games start at 2pm at 110 Grey Street, East Melbourne.
RPG Review Issue 5

game systems based on the Odyssey by Lev Lafayette, transport and travel
in Paranoia by Brendan Evans, a review of Fallout 3 by Andy Astruc, a

abilities and the capacity to speak in riddles and a walking sapient

I've been using the *nix cal command and mistakenly brought up the dates
for the year 0009 rather than 2009.
