So here it is. Its monthly, it's brief and it's here. Enjoy. Gaming Timetable ================ RuneQuest Prax is clanned for Sunday the 2nd and 16th. Call of Cthulhu Masks of Nyarlathotep and Horror on the Orient Express on Sunday 9th and 23rd. All games start at 2pm. A recent update on the Prax Campaign is available at: http://mimesisrpg.com/pipermail/runequestprax_mimesisrpg.com/2008-November/000029.html Social Movie Day ================ On Sunday 30th, 2pm, we will having a movie day in lieu of our normal gaming activity - however the films are gaming related; namely "The Game" and "eXistenZ". "The Game" is produced by David Fincher and stars Michael Douglas and Sean Penn and involves an investment banker who becomes a participant in a live-role playing game of epic proportions and conspiracy. Directed by David Cronenberg and starirng Jennifer Jason Leigh and Jude Law, "eXistenZ" involves participation in a fully-immersive video game which goes horribly wrong. (Legal caveat: This is a private function to CoG members and guests only.) Membership ========== We encourage Church of Gaming attendees to become Associate Members of the Melbourne Unitarian Church. Membership is $5.50 per annum and forms will be available at CoG gatherings. RPG Review Issue #1 =================== Whilst everyone probably has seen it the first issue of "RPG Review" was released last month. It is available at: http://rpgreview.net/sites/default/files/rpg_review_1.pdf Submissions are currently being accepted for the second issue which will be released around December 23. Credo ===== Credo is a card game by The Chaosium which has been long out of print. Players are a faction of the early Christian church and have to insert as many beliefs of their creed into the official Nicene Creed - very appropriate! A very kind individual has scanned all the cards and rules which are available for download at: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/1304 A game day for Credo has been suggested for December.
