A deposit of 75000 was made in the Bank of Redmund, with 62000 kept stashed in the Drachen room. A visit espies none other than Ulf in Redmund's employ. Lady Drachenheim sends out feelers to find Nibelungen. Christinia sculpted the cellar at a cost of 1500 Guilders, with urals, frescos etc. As for Adrich's corpse? Well the difficulty was convincing the everloyal Rev Alfred the Objectionist. You could hardly tell them he was killed by a dragon could you? Eventually a compromise was reached; the family told killed by "a monster", as indeed they are occasionally known within the very walls of the city itself. Why, were not dead kobolds found at the Cathedral itself but a month ago? The gated house which Redmud's overlooks was purchased for 8,800, including ithe agent's fee. Lady Drachenheim tracked down the seller, and met with the sombre Silas, Maudlin, and Julius. Despite her overtures of a public school he remained distant. Further visits discovers that one of Redmund's stablehands is prone to a drink and a visit to a house of ill-repute. A conversation is had with him. Oh yes, he can get you into the grounds after hours for the right price.. Hans is somewhat concerned with Lady Drachenheim's sorcerous abilities but wisely keeps his mouth shut. Inside the Lady encounters a sleeping Teresa, and awakes her with the message from her now deceased sister. A wife-prisoner, Teresa takes her dead sister's gift and bids an escape for Lady Alice Drachenheim, who leaves a blooded stone behind, for possible future needs. Meanwhile a messanger from the Nibelugen arrives, with instructions to visit the secretive smithy guild to visit them in the mountains of Hainzl; this is a lengthy journey requiring travel through two other provinces (Hellgrund and Fischler) to get there. The first major stopping point in the southern waypoint was Seeufer, capital of Fischler, located on the edge of the Sudlache and the Schwartzen Walden. Lady Drachenheim visits a royal party, whilst Alex joins the evening patrols outside the substantial town walls. >From there the party journeys south and east, stopping at Tannen and with the ultimate destination of Atemlos. A night beforehand however they are caught in an unseasonal violent summer storm** which hits the village where they are staying. Which much of the village takes shelter in the church, the party must find wayward several wayward souls. After the stormy evening, Axel makes some strategic suggestions for better protection in future against such uncanny weather. Finally the party reaches Atemlos, perched high up on the mountains. This is a rich mining town and with a notable entertainment sector, including the famous Atemlos Opera House and the play of the Three Owls. Lady Drachenheim ensures that everyone has seats to see the upcoming performance the following night... ... and that is where we are ready for Session 16 of 7th Sea to be held tomorrow. * Not the least being a +3 rock. Very important y'know. ** Interestingly, Germany just had one of these: http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/may/06/tornado-hits-germany-leaving-extensive-damage -- Lev Lafayette, BA (Hons), GradCertTerAdEd (Murdoch), GradCertPM, MBA (Tech Mngmnt) (Chifley) mobile: 0432 255 208 RFC 1855 Netiquette Guidelines http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc1855.txt http://www.quicksales.com.au/shop/RPG-Review.aspx
