Hey Guys,
Sadly my mobility issues are getting worse. I am working on them with a 
pysio and medical folks but no idea if they will get better.
My preference is some kind of MUX/MUD/Chat room thing, but I realise 
that is odd unless you are used to it :) I can certainly arrange it, but 
I understand if everyone else wouldn't want it. Don't want to be a 
nuisance. But it may be good if it gets even worse.

If I can get a lift however that would be awesome, and of course happy 
to split petrol.

Anyway sorry to be a pain, but again thank you Lev,

Works for me, need me to bring any books? I have most in a format or 
another :) Also 1st or 2nd ed. Not too much difference but a big one 
with Swordsman Skills.

I didn't even know there was two editions. I knew there was a D20 spinoff,
is that what you mean?

What I have is first edition which uses the Roll-and-Keep system.

No there was a second printing of the Players Guide, main difference was 
Swordsman's Schools now come with one rank in each of the knacks IIRC.

I've had a think about it, and would like to change my character. 
Basically given the plotline, I think that the sorcery is pretty 
useless.  As such, I have the following as a background.

No brothers; her father desperately wanted a Musketeer in the family, or 
he was a former Musketeer who was killed and she decided to take up the 
mantle.  Disguised herself as a man and joined.  Fell in love with a 
fellow Musketeer (see Hubris)  and revealed herself. He was not 
reciprocal, became an enemy (see Lost Love background), and she had to 
flee to Eisen.

Drop sorcery, boost brawn and finesse.  Add in sword and main gauche.  
Boost disguise and firearms.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick reminder that we do have gaming on tomorrow despite (a)
holiday season and (b) me spending the last two days battling a cold that
was almost as bad as the 'flu (praise be to pseudo-pseudo ephedrine and
sweet, sweet codeine).

Apart from the exploration of your new home, surrounds, and dealing with
that local protection racket, I wouldn't mind a discussion on *how*
Freiburg would actually work. According to system as writ, it's pretty
much a libertarian minarchy - the only legal system in force is that which
exists to enforce contracts (whether accepted by Hobson's Choice or not),
prevent arson, riot, or revolution.

Apart from that, you're on your own, rules-as-writ. Now as far as can
fathom this would lead to an utter collapse of infrastructure, a massive
expansion of "debt slavery" (slavery in all but name), and

The only place I can think of which operated like Freiburg in the real
world was the Kowloon Wall City, and that was very quickly taken over by
the triads with the pseudo-slavery and infrastructure problems as noted.
